to Saint Francis with its convent. The oval shaped Church of Santa Chiara with
its stucco, and the "Chiesa Madre" dedicated to the Madonna with its staiway.
At Via Cavour you will find magnificent baroque facade buildings such as: Palazzo
di Lorenzo Castelluccio, Palazzo di Villadorata the most famous of Noto with anthropomorphic
and zoomorphic decorations on the balconies, the Church of Montevergini. Another
great example of baroque art is the Church of San Domenico dominating the main
square.
