It is famous for the Vesuvius' Volcano eruption in 79 A.C. that destroyed the city and killed most if its inhabitants. Today it has became an internationally known archaeological site , easily reachable with the motorway Salerno-Napoli, which access is just a few kilometres from the hotel.
